Most times I wonder: does the Church want to be the church? Or, is that simply something nice to say? I think many people wonder the same thing. I think many of you don’t stay home on Sundays because you wonder the same thing. It’s like Jesus would say: “scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!”
The Body of Christ is full of folk who profess to want something that their actions show they really don’t want. Like unity…oneness. Churches will openly proclaim their desire to be one, but hold onto their cliques and clans and other grudges.
